Artillery Ladies Club, which is one of the pioneering women charity organization raised within the Army, was formed in 1999 and subsequently named as Seva Vanitha Artillery. Today, its functions as the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch under the Seva Vanith Unit of the Sri Lanka Army. Aim of Seva Vanitha is to attend all welfare needs of the families of those who KIA, MIA and disabled in action in addition to those who are in active service. Seva Vanith Branch offers great deal of opportunities to help and share gratitude with the people who sacrificed best part of their life for better future for all of us.
