The Gunner sprinter, Himasha becomes South Asia's fastest again

The second and the final day of the National trials aimed at picking the preliminary squad for the Asian Athletic Championship - 2019 was held on 25 February 2019 at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo.

S/A100379 L/Bdr Eshan WKH set a new National record by clocking 10.22 sec. breaking his own record in mens 100m. Himasha was also the holder of the South Asian record for his performance of 10.26 sec. at the south Asian Games in 2016. Regiment of Artillery congratulates him for his excellent performances.
