New QMG of the Army Headquarters Takes over Duties
2020-09-29Major General Shantha Hewawitharana RSP USP ndc IG on Tuesday 29th September
2020 took over duties as the 26th Quarter Master General (QMG) of the Quarter Master
General Branch at the Army Headquarters, in addition to his present office as Director
General Military Intelligence and Colonel of the Regiment of Military Intelligence Corps.
The newly-appointed QMG signed an official document to signify the acceptance of the
new office amid religious observances. Staff Officers of the Branch, together with a few
Other Ranks attended the occasion.
