COLONEL COMMANDANT MARKED HIS MAIDEN VISIT TO 12(V) SLA
2021-02-01The Commander, Security Forces (Kilinochchi) and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda marked his maiden visit to 12(V) Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery on 26 January 2021. The Colonel Commandant was honoured with a Guard Turnout at the main entrance of 12(V) SLA on his arrival and welcomed by the Commanding Officer at Artillery Camp, Koorai. Lt Col DMBPB Dissanayake RSP USP SLA, the Commanding Officer of 12(V) SLA briefed about the present deployment, duties and developments of the regiment. Colonel Commandant addressed all the troops and appreciated valuable contribution 12(V) SLA made in ensuring national security. The officers and other ranks of the Regiment had a golden opportunity to interact with the Colonel Commandant at the all ranks tea organised.
The visiting commander planted Saplings as a Symbol and left his Signature in Visitors' books to make his visit.
