The President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces His Excellency Gotabaya Rajapaksa has approved the promotion of under mentioned senior Gunner Officers to the rank of Major General with effect from 7 May 2021.
