Ceremonial Installation of 122mm Field Artillery Gun - Rear HQ 9 SLA Thalawa Camp
2021-08-10The ceremonial installation of 122 mm Field Artillery Gun at the Rear Headquarters, 9 Field Regiment - Talawa Camp was held at 1030 hours on 08 August 2021.
It has elevated the standard and outlook of the Rear Headquarters and also enhanced the Regimental pride. Having accepted the formal invitation of Lieutenant Colonel DPLT Kaluaggala RSP USP IG the Commanding Officer 9 Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General KNS Kotuwegoda ndc IG, Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Artillery participated as the Chief Guest of this ceremonial installation.
The event was organized by adhering to the Covid 19 health guide lines. The Center Commandant and Deputy Center Commandant of Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Commander of Artillery Brigade and few senior Artillery officers came to grace this occasion and decorated this colorful event by their encouraging presence.
