Colonel Commandant Marked His Visit to 6 SLA

The Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG marked his visit to 6th Field Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery at Veyangoda on 16 December 2021.

A Drive Pass was accorded to the Colonel Commandant at the main entrance and welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel AHMT Gunarathne RSP psc SLA.

The Colonel Commandant addressed the troops as scheduled and The Commanding Officer of 6 SLA briefed about the present deployment, duties and developments of the regiment. The days event also textured with the planting of sapling and concluded after signing the visitors book.

The event took place with strictly adhering to the health guidance given to prevent the COVID 19 pandemic.
