TWO SENIOR GUNNER OFFICERS VISIT SCHOOL OF ARTILLERY AND ARTILLERY COMPLEX MINNERIYA

The General Officer Commanding 66 Infantry Division, Major General B K G M L Rodrigo RSP psc IG and the General Officer Commanding 55 Infantry Division, Brigadier M K U P Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG visited the Artillery Complex Minneriya on 15 February 2022 to evaluate the progress of School of Artillery and the Gunners's Club.

The Commandant School of Artillery Colonel K A D N A R Kannangara RSP IG and the Officer in Charge of the Gunners' Club, Major P G S Kumarasinghe psc USP IG SLA briefed the current status of affairs at the School of Artillery and the Gunners' Club respectively. Having scrutinized the statistics, both GOCs contributed with much important directions and guidance to uplift the standards of School of Artillery and functioning procedures of the Gunner's Club.

Further, both council members took time to visit the School of Artillery and Gunners' Club premisses to witness the present conditions. Day's event concluded by an interaction session with the officers who are serving at the Artillery Complex, Minneriya.
