Colonel Commandant Marked His Maiden Visit to 10 SLA

Mullaitivu and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe RSP USP ndu marked his maiden visit to 10th Medium Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery at Vasavilanon 02 March 2022.
The Colonel Commandant was accorded with a Drive Pass at the main entrance of 10 SLA on his arrival and welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 10 SLA Lt Col KJACP Jayawardana USP psc SLA. At the outset Commanding Officer of 10 SLA briefed about the role, task and the present deployment. Subsequently the Colonel Commandant planted a sapling to mark his visit and took a group photograph in front of the RHQ 10 SLA.
Afterwards, the Colonel Commandant addressed the troops. During the field visit Colonel Commandant visited the Artillery Ammunition Dump. The day's itinerary was concluded with all Ranks tea and Lunch at the Officers' Mess, 10 SLA.
The event was organized with strictly adhering to the health guidance given to prevent the COVID 19 pandemic.
