Members of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch Offered an Alms Giving in Prajapathi Aramaya - Lenagala

In conjunction with Vesak celebration, the members of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch Organized an Alms Giving in Prajapathi Aramaya - Lenagala on 06 May 2023 under the patronage of Mrs Chama Wanasinghe - The President of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch. The Alms giving has been organized according to charming and religious customs/ Traditions.

The Day unfolded by offering "Buddha Pooja" initially, and followed by Offering Alms to 60 personells including "Mehenin" and other participants who observed "Sheela" at the same venue.

Subsequently , the Cheif "Bhikkuni Theranin" Offered blessings to the Colonel Commandant, President of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch and all the serving members of Artillery Regiment for future endeavours and for those who sacrifice their lives and became wounded in the Battlefield.

The Colonel Commandant, Maj Gen Sanjaya Wanasinghe, DPA - Brigadier Upul Kodithuwakku the Centre Commandant also was present at the Occasion.
