THE COLONEL COMMANDANT OF THE REGIMENT OF SRI LANKA ARTILLERY VISITED 11 SLA
2024-08-05The Commander Security Forces (Central) and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General BKGML Rodrigo RSP psc IG visited the 11th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery (RFT) - Mannar (Selvary) on 29 July 2024.
The senior officer was accorded with a Drive Pass and welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel ARS De Silva RSP USP psc IG SLA.
The visit was unfolded with planting of a Sapling, COs’ Briefing, Camp visit, Opening of the newly constructed ORs’ Mess and Troop Address. At the end of the programme a Memento was presented to the Colonel Commandant by the Commanding Officer to marked his maiden visit to 11 SLA and the programme was concluded after marking remarks in the Visitors’ Book.
The Centre Commandant, Brigadier KADNR Kannangara RSP IG and Colonel Coord- 54 lnfantry Division, Colonel KAP Karawita RSP USP accompanied the Colonel Commandant on the visit.
