Lt Col T V N De Saa RSP USP psc IG SLA, assumed duties as the 16th Commanding Officer of 9th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery on 01 August 2024, at Sinhapura.

The programme for assuming duties commenced with reviewing the Guard Turnout. Newly appointed Commanding Officer, placed his signature on a formal document after a brief religious observance as a symbolic gesture of taking over the command. The day’s events included Planting a sapling, a Troop Address and a Tea Party.
