Farewell Ceremony to Major General C S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG
2024-12-07Gunner family bid farewell to Major General C S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG on 6 December 2024. The farewell ceremony was held at the Artillery Regimental Centre, in accordance with the customs and rich traditions of the Gunners. The ceremony began with laying a flower wreath at the Regimental Monument to pay tribute to the fallen war heroes. The Troops of the Regiment accorded a Guard turnout and a Farewell Parade to Major General C S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG. The Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' Mess organized a grand tea ceremony to honour the Senior Officer. The day’s events were concluded with a Guest Night hosted by the Officers of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery at the Officers’ Mess. The Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General B K G M L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, Senior Officers, Officers and their ladies were present.
