Maj Gen HHKSS Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc assumed duties as the 11th Commandant of Defense Services Command and Staff College on 18 December 2024 during a charm ceremony.

The senior officer was welcomed by according a Tri Services Guard Turn Out to the college.
