NEWLY COMMISSIONED OFFICERS WELCOMED BY THE COLONEL COMMANDANT

Twelve Newly Commissioned Officers welcomed to the Gunner family by the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP psc on 03 January 2025. Newly commissioned young Officers was officially welcomed by the Colonel Commandant at a ceremony filled with pride, tradition, and anticipation. This event marks the beginning of their service as commissioned officers in the esteemed Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery.

The welcoming ceremony was an expression of the military's rich traditions, with the Colonel Commandant guiding the proceedings. Further Colonel Commandant has instructed and guide to discharge their duties with honor and pride as a young Gunner Officer with as always keep our motto ‘On the Way to Justice and Glory’

The ceremony concluded with a renewed sense of pride and purpose, with the Colonel Commandant’s guidance, they are poised to serve with excellence and uphold the core values of Sri Lanka Artillery.
