COMMENCEMENT OF BATTALION TRAINING COURSE – 7 LIGHT REGIMENT SRI LANKA ARTILLERY

Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP psc the Commander, Security Forces (East) and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Artillery visited the Battalion Training School - Punani on 06 January 2025 for the opening address of Battalion Training Course of the 7th Light Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery. The event commenced with awarding a drive pass to the Commander, Security Forces (East).

Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP psc was warmly welcomed by the Commander 231 Infantry Brigade, Commandant of the BTS – Punani and Commanding Officer of 7 SLA. Further, Brig W S V Fernando USP ndc IG, Brig GS of Security Forces (East) and Senior Officers of 23 Infantry Division attended the event.

Addressing the troops, Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP psc emphasised the importance of collective training and instructed all Offrs and Sldrs to utilize the opportunity effectively.The event concluded with an All Ranks tea.
