NEW COMMANDER 512 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMED DUTIES

Colonel LAR Gunaratne RSP USP IG assumed duties as the 29th Brigade
Commander of the 512 Infantry Brigade on 20 January 2025 at the Headquarters 512 Infantry Brigade - Jaffna amidst formal military traditions.
Upon his arrival he was warmly welcomed by the Senior Staff Officer along
with the Commanding Officer of the 14 Gajaba Regiment to the camp premises by
offering him a Guard Turnout.
Then the Senior Officer placed his signature in formal document symbolizing
the assumption of duties. Further, the programme was included an All Ranks tea,
troop address and a briefing with participation of Staff Officers.
