COMMANDER ARTILLERY BRIGADE VISIT TO 11 REGIMENT SRI LANKA ARTILLERY (RFT)

Brigadier TGIA Ariyaratne RSP IG, the Commander of the Artillery Brigade, made his inaugural visit to the 11th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery (RFT) in Selvary - Thalaimannar on 12th February 2025. Upon arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel BMR Ferdinandesz psc IG SLA along with a Drive pass.

The day began with a comprehensive unit briefing conducted by the Commanding Officer. Following this, he addressed the troops followed by the camp field visit, gaining insights into its operations and infrastructure.

A memento was presented by the Commanding Officer, commemorating his visit to the regiment.

The events concluded with a lunch at the Officers' mess fostering a fruitful interaction with Officers. Before departing, Comd Arty Bde shared his thoughts and appreciation in the visitors’ book, marking the end of a successful and memorable visit.
