PIRITH CHANTING CEREMONY AND ALMS GIVING AT REGIMENTAL HEADQUARTERS – PANAGODA
2025-04-21An overnight Pirith Chanting ceremony was held in the evening on 19 April 2025, in line with the 137th Regimental Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony. The event was concluded with the offering of “Heel Dana” to Maha Sanga on 20 April 2025 morning where the religious blessings were invoked on the heroic Gunners who paid the supreme sacrifice. The Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, along with Senior Officers, Officers and their spouses, Other Ranks and family members of Fallen War Heroes of the Regiment of Artillery were present at the occasion.
