NEW COMMANDER 562 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMED DUTIES

Colonel DMPU Dissanayake RSP USP IG assumed duties as the 05th Brigade Commander of the 562 Infantry Brigade on 07 April 2025 at the Headquarters 562 Infantry Brigade - Eachchankulam amidst formal military traditions.

Upon his arrival he was warmly welcomed by the Civil Affairs Officer along with the Commanding Officers of the 17 SLLI and 12 VIR Regiment to the camp premises by offering him a Guard Turnout.

Then the Senior Officer placed his signature in formal document symbolizing the assumption of duties. Further, the programme was included an All Ranks tea, troop address and a briefing with participation of Staff Officers.
