Artillery Officers Excel at Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare Course No. 35

The Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare Course No. 35, held at the Army Training School (ATS) in Maduruoya from 28 April 2025 to 01 August 2025, concluded on a high note with outstanding performances from Sri Lanka Artillery officers.

A total of 31 officers, including 5 foreign participants, and representatives from the Navy and Air Force, took part in this intensive and demanding training.

Demonstrating exceptional skill and leadership, Captain HGJKD Pathiraja of 6 SLA secured First in Order of Merit with an Excellent grading, while Captain RSDM De Zoysa of 4 SLA followed closely, earning Second in Order of Merit, also with an Excellent grading.

Their remarkable achievement brings great credit to the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery and reflects its continued commitment to professional excellence.
