Lt Col T M C B Telwadana RSP USP psc IG SLA officially handed over duties as the 25th Commanding Officer of the 7th Light Regiment, Sri Lanka Artillery, in a dignified ceremony held at the Regiment premises in Minneriya.

The programme commenced with the reviewing of the Guard Turnout and Parade, followed by the formal signing of the handing over documents. Symbolizing his enduring contribution to the Regiment’s growth, Lt Col T M C B Telwadana RSP USP psc IG SLA planted a sapling within the camp premises. The proceedings concluded with an All-Ranks Lunch, providing an opportunity for officers and soldiers alike to extend their gratitude and bid a heartfelt farewell.

All officers and other ranks of the Regiment joined together to convey their best wishes to the outgoing Commanding Officer as he embarks on the next chapter of his distinguished military career.
