Artillery Firing Team trains at Diyatalawa FFR ahead of November Combat Firing Meet

The Artillery Firing Team commenced intensive training at the Diyatalawa Field Firing Range in preparation for the upcoming Combat Firing Meet scheduled to be held in November this year.

As part of this training programme, the Commander Artillery Brigade, Brigadier TGIA Ariyaratne RSP IG, paid a visit to Diyatalawa on 17 August 2025. During the visit, he observed the training activities, engaged with the troops, and provided valuable guidance and encouragement to ensure the team’s readiness for the forthcoming competition.

The training focuses on sharpening skills, precision, and teamwork, while the Commander’s visit further motivated the teams to uphold the proud traditions of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery.
