GUNNER KUMARA T K R N S OF SRI LANKA ARTILLERY CROWNED BEST RIDER AND SECURES DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES

The Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of S/A100228 Gnr Kumara T K R N S of the 5 (V) Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, who showcased extraordinary skill and determination in two major motorbike sporting events this year.

At the thrilling Defence Services Motorcross 2025, held at the iconic GR MX Racing Track, Gnr Kumara T K R N S delivered a dominant performance, powering his way to the top of the podium. With sheer confidence and unmatched riding prowess, he was crowned Best Rider of the Championship, while also securing the titles of 125 CC category and 250 CC category.

Carrying forward his momentum, once again proved his consistency and commitment at the 6th Army Inter Regiment Motorbike Championship - 2025, held on 12 September 2025 at the Gajaba Supercross Racing Track, Saliyapura. Competing fiercely against top riders across the Army, he claimed Second Place in both the 125 CC and 250 CC categories, enabling the Sri Lanka Artillery to secure the Overall Runner-Up position at the Championship.

These remarkable back-to-back achievements not only highlight the exceptional talent but also bring great honour to the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery.
