DONATION OF DRY RATION PACKS TO SELECTED SOLDIERS OF 5 (V) REGIMENT SRI LANKA ARTILLERY

A donation programme for the distribution of dry ration packs to selected soldiers of the 5 (V) Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery was held on 04 October 2025, under the patronage of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch.

The event was organized under the direction and supervision of Mrs. Vindya Premaratne, President Seva Vanitha Branch, Sri Lanka Artillery and with the guidance of the Commanding Officer 5 (V) Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Major DGIA Kumara SLA.

Through this welfare initiative 15 soldiers of the Regiment received dry ration packs each valued at approximately Rs. 9,500.00 The programme aimed to extend financial and moral support to the soldiers and their families, reflecting the Regiment’s enduring commitment to the welfare and well-being of its members.

The occasion was graced by Mrs. Vindya Premaratne President, Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch along with members of the Seva Vanitha Branch Sri Lanka Artillery, marking yet another successful welfare endeavour of the Artillery family.
