Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch Hosts Children’s Day Celebration at Minneriya

The Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch hosted a Children’s Day Celebration at the Minneriya Gunners Club area on 06 October 2025, under the guidance of Mrs. Vindya Premaratne President of the Branch and the supervision of Major General Nilantha Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery.

The event saw the participation of over 185 children and 160 parents, featuring art competition, fun games, various children’s activities, a magic show and musical programmes. Gift vouchers and gift packs, generously sponsored by the Army seva vanitha unit, Bata, Munchee, Magna and Fonterra, were distributed to the children.

The programme was successfully conducted with the support of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch members and the organizing committee, providing a joyful and memorable experience while reinforcing unity among Artillery families.
