LT COL TVN DE SAA RSP USP PSC IG SLA BIDS FAREWELL AS COMMANDING OFFICER OF 9TH FIELD REGIMENT OF SRI LANKA ARTILLERY
2025-11-11Lt Col TVN De Saa RSP USP psc IG SLA officially handed over duties as the 16th Commanding Officer of the 9th Field Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, in a dignified ceremony held at the Regiment premises in Sinhapura on 10th November 2025. The programme commenced with the reviewing of the Guard Turnout and Parade, followed by the formal signing of the handing over documents. The proceedings concluded with an All-Ranks Lunch, providing an opportunity for officers and soldiers alike to extend their gratitude and bid a heartfelt farewell. All officers and other ranks of the Regiment joined together to convey their best wishes to the outgoing Commanding Officer as he embarks on the next chapter of his distinguished military career.
