WOs' & Sgts' Mess Night at the Artillery Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda – 10 November 2025
2025-11-13A splendid Mess Night was held at the Warrant Officers' and Sergeants’ Mess of the Artillery Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda, on 10 November 2025. The occasion was presented with the participation of Senior officers, warrant officers, and sergeants, fostering an atmosphere of military decorum, camaraderie, and regimental tradition. The Chief Guest for the evening was Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, The Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery. His presence added a great prestige to the occasion, and he was warmly welcomed by the Regimental Sergeant Major and members of the Mess. The night featured the rich customs and ceremonials associated with a traditional military mess event, reflecting the pride and heritage of the Regiment of Artillery. The gathering strengthened bonds of fellowship and esprit de corps among all ranks, marking yet another memorable evening in the Regiment’s proud history.
