ASSISTANT INSTRUCTORS IN GUNNERY SEMINAR – 2025

Under the guidance of the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, the School of Artillery achieved another significant milestone by successfully conducting the Assistant Instructors in Gunnery (AIsG) Seminar on 22 November 2025. The event brought together 54 Assistant Instructors in Gunnery.

The seminar was graced by Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps. His presence, along with his inspiring and thought-provoking remarks, set a motivating foundation for the research presentations and discussions that followed.

Throughout the seminar, participants exchanged valuable ideas and insights relevant to their topics, contributing meaningfully to the future development of the Regiment of Artillery. The seminar also facilitated discussions on future training enhancement initiatives for the Artillery. Several senior officers, including the Commander Artillery Brigade, Commandant School of Artillery and Commanding Officers, attended the event, marking this occasion as a memorable milestone for the School of Artillery.
