Orchid Project Inaugurated to Uplift Welfare of Army Soldiers
2025-12-15Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch proudly inaugurated the “Orchid Project”, a welfare initiative dedicated to enhancing the well-being of soldiers of the Sri Lanka Army, at a simple ceremonious event held on 13th December 2025.
The event was graced by Mrs. Vindya Premaratne, and Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant of the Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery, along with members of the Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch and senior officers.
The Orchid Project aims to provide sustainable welfare support, focusing on social empowerment, financial assistance, and long-term well-being of soldiers and their families. The project reflects the Seva Vanitha Branch’s ongoing dedication to caring for those who serve the nation with unwavering commitment.
