ASSUMED DUTIES COMMANDING OFFICER OF THE 4TH FIELD REGIMENT OF SRI LANKA ARTILLERY

Lt Col RMPGLC Samarakoon RWP RSP psc IG SLA assumed duties as the 33rd Commanding Officer of the 4th Field Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery on 29 December 2025 at Panagoda.

The newly appointed Commanding Officer formally assumed duties during a ceremonial programme conducted in accordance with military tradition. The proceedings commenced with reviewing the Guard Turnout, Parade and followed by a brief religious observance, signifying the spiritual sanctification of the occasion. The Commanding Officer placed his signature on the official document, thereby symbolizing the formal assumption of command.
