RELINQUISHED DUTIES AS COMMANDING OFFICER OF 10TH MEDIUM REGIMENT OF SRI LANKA ARTILLERY

Lt Col SPRS Palliyaguru RSP psc IG SLA officially handed over duties as the 15th Commanding Officer of the 10th Regiment, Sri Lanka Artillery on 28 December 2025 during a dignified ceremony held at the Regimental premises.

The day’s programme commenced with the arrival of the outgoing Commanding Officer, followed by the inspection of the Guard Turnout and a ceremonial parade, during which the Commanding Officer addressed the troops. The proceedings reflected the proud traditions and discipline of the Regiment.

The event concluded with an All-Ranks Lunch, followed by an Officers’ Get-Together at the Officers’ Mess, providing an opportunity for officers to express their appreciation and extend heartfelt best wishes to the outgoing Commanding Officer as he embarks on the next phase of his distinguished military career.
