New Adjutant General Assumes Duties

Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, assumed duties as the 42nd Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army at an auspicious time on 27 January 2026 at his office at Army Headquarters.

Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc signed a formal document to mark his official acceptance of office in presence of Staff after brief religious observances.

The Centre Commandant, officers of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery and other senior officers, officers, and other ranks, were present on the occasion. Subsequently, The New Adjutant General of Sri Lanka Army held a brief discussion with his staff officers.
