Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Holds Ceremony of Distribution of Certificates
2026-02-06The Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery held a distinguished Ceremony of Distribution of Certificates to honour Officers and Other Rankers who participated in the years of 2024/2025 Inter-Regiment Drill Competition, years of 2024/2025 Pace stick Competition, and the 78th Independence Day Parade.
The event recognised the dedication, discipline, and professionalism demonstrated by the Gunners throughout these important military displays and competitions.
The Team which participated for the Pace stick competition 2025, representing the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery secured First Place, showcasing exceptional precision and drill execution during the competition and bringing pride to the Regiment. Certificates were presented to all participating Officers and Other Ranks in acknowledgment of their commitment and exemplary performance.
The Commandant - Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
His distinguished presence added dignity to the event and emphasized the importance of recognizing the contributions of every participant in promoting team spirit, unity, and excellence in service.
