Sri Lanka Artillery Clinches Overall Championship at the 59th Army Road Race – 2026
2026-03-09Athletes of the Sri Lanka Artillery delivered an exceptional performance at the 59th Army Road Race – 2026 held on Sunday morning (March 8). Demonstrating remarkable endurance, determination, and team spirit, the Sri Lanka Artillery team dominated the event and emerged as the Overall Champions, continuously for the 3rd time, securing the total score of 65 marks.
The race commenced from the Army Headquarters premises and concluded at APTS, Panagoda, where athletes from various regiments competed in the demanding road race. The Sri Lanka Artillery athletes showcased outstanding athletic ability and discipline, securing several top positions and bringing pride and honour to the Regiment.
