Regiment Tug of War Team Clinches Championship Title at Inter-Club Tournament

On 16 May 2026, the Inter-Club Tug of War Tournament was held at the Revatha College Grounds in Balapitiya, where the Artillery Regiment Tug of War Team delivered an outstanding performance against all competing tri-services teams. The team demonstrated exceptional strength, discipline, and teamwork throughout the competition.

Displaying remarkable determination, the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery dominated the initial rounds by defeating all opposing tug of war teams from the tri-services, securing their place in the final of the tournament.

In the final encounter, the Artillery Regimental Tug of War Team emerged victorious over the Sri Lanka Air Force Tug of War Team, securing the championship title. The achievement reflects the team’s dedication, rigorous training, and collective commitment, bringing significant pride and honour to the Regiment and the Sri Lanka Artillery sporting fraternity.
