Gunner Clinches “Best Runner” Award at Physical Training Instructor Course – 136

S/167557 Lance Bombardier Somapala S of the 8th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, brought honour and distinction to the Regiment by securing the prestigious “Best Runner” award at the Physical Training Instructor Course – 136 conducted at the Army Physical Training School, Panagoda.

The Passing Out Parade of the course was held ceremonially on 18 May 2026 at the Army Physical Training School premises, marking the successful culmination of a rigorous training programme designed to enhance the physical fitness, endurance, leadership, and instructional capabilities of Army personnel.
