Commander of the Army Opens Gunners’ Platform

2013-08-03

Lt Gen Daya Ratnayake, Comd of the Army declared open the “Gunners’ Platform” the newly built exclusive spectator stand in the Gunner Track Minneriya in a simple ceremony on 3 August 2013. It is the first such facility declared open by the Commander of Army after assuming duties. Gunners Platform is the only such facility available in a motor sporting arena in Sri Lanka.
