8th Gunner Supercross - 2013
2013-08-05‘8th Gunner Supercross - 2013’, the sporting pride of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery got underway at Minneriya Artillery Complex tracks on 04 August 2013. 123 racing drivers and riders including the island’s best performers displayed their motor sporting skills in the most challenging yet Safe Minneriya Gunner Track. Lt Gen Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army graced the event as the chief guest and he was welcomed in a spectacular ceremony. To the credit of Gunner Supercross organizers, there was no accident during the races which shows the class of track preparation by Gunners. Aravinda Premadasa was adjudged the Best Driver and Gayan Sandaruwan the Best Rider. The Gunner Supercross 2013 Organizers together with SLADA racing expressed their thanks to all sponsors, competitors and spectators for assisting them in conducting the event successfully.
