Maj Gen JC Rambukpotha RSP USP ndc psc IG who is also the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery assumed duties as the Chief of Staff, Joint Staff - Ofiice of the Chief of Defence Staff on 09 September 2013 at BMICH. Religious ceremonies took place prior to taking over of duties.
