Gunner Spikers Add Another Award to Trophy Cabinet

2013-12-24

The Artillery volleyball team won the Inter Regiment Volleyball Championship 2013 on 24th December 2013 at Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium by beating Sri Lanka Light Infantry at the finals by 3 - 2 (sets) after a tough contest . Lance Bombardier Senaratne of the Regiment of Artillery received the trophy for the Most Outstanding Player of the Year from Lt Gen RMD Ratnayake WWV RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander of the Army who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
