Brigadier Sumith Premalal assumed office as the 24th Centre Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery

Brigadier KPS Premalal RWP RSP USP assumed office as the 24th Centre Commandant of the Regiment of Artillery on 08th August 2018 in a grandiose ceremony held at Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda.

Guard turnout was accorded to the incoming Centre Commandant by the troops of Regimental Headquarters. Brigadier Sumith Premalal placed his signature for a formal document in a presence of Regimental staff after a brief religious observances and lighting of the traditional oil lamp.

The days events also textured with an Officers address at Regimental Headquarters and a tea party at Officers' Mess.
