Lt Col D M P U Dissanayake RSP USP IG assumed office as the Commanding Officer of 10th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery

Lt Col D M P U Dissanayake RSP USP IG assumed office as the 11th Commanding Officer of 10th Medium Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery on 10 August 2018 in a grandiose ceremony held at 10th Medium Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Mudungoda.

Programme for assuming duties commenced with reviewing the Guard Turnout presented by the Unit. Then as a symbolic gesture of taking over the command, Lt Col D M P U Dissanayake placed his signature for a formal document after a brief religious observance and during "Chanting Pirith". The day's events also extended with a tree planting and Troop address where all members of 10 SLA attended.
